ABOUT THE 2027 JEMUN GLOBAL ACTION SUMMIT
The JEMUN Global Action Summit is the flagship event of JEMUN. During the summit, participants assume the roles of government leaders and advisers, working within four ministries and national cabinet teams to design a comprehensive National Action Plan for the year 2040.
Through ministry strategy sessions, cabinet meetings, leadership workshops, expert consultations, company engagement, and national presentations, participants learn how governments develop policy, balance competing priorities, and transform ideas into meaningful action.
Rather than competing to produce the best resolution, each national delegation works together to create a shared vision for the future of its country. The experience emphasizes leadership, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, negotiation, and evidence-based decision-making while encouraging participants to consider the economic, educational, environmental, and social dimensions of sustainable national development.
JEMUN welcomes high school and university students from Japan and around the world, creating a diverse international community where future leaders learn with—and from—one another while building lifelong global connections.
By the end of the summit, every delegation presents its National Action Plan, demonstrating how cooperation, innovation, and responsible leadership can help build the countries we want to live in by 2040.
