JEMUN Journalism Award (one journalism team)
Multicultural journalist teams are assigned to cover the JEMUN meeting rooms. Each team collaborates, explores, engages and finally creates digital media publications. All of the communication between each multicultural journalist pair is in English and the publications they produce are also in English. One JEMUN Journalism team will be selected for the JEMUN journalism award.

While JEMUN Diplomacy Awards celebrate the ideals we embrace within delegates, JEMUN also recognizes the outstanding group efforts made by university and high school delegations attending our conference. This is carried out in the form of our JEMUN Positive Impact Awards. These awards are decided by the JEMUN's Organizing Team after deliberation with meeting room Advisors and Bureau members.
Small delegation= 3 to 9 students
Medium delegation= 10 to 15 students
Large delegation= 16 or more students
JEMUN Position Paper Awards are based on the following criteria:
- The delegate followed the position paper structure outlined by JEMUN.
- The ideas in the position paper are organized thoughtfully.
- The position paper utilizes thoughtful, concise grammar and langauge.
- The position paper reflects a strong understanding of the topic of debate.
- The position paper is solution-oriented and acknowledges other points of view.

JEMUN Diplomacy Awards are based on the following criteria:
- The delegate acted in the spirit of the United Nations and its values.
- The delegate actively listened to the concerns of other delegates.
- The delegate actively proposed compromises during Informal Informal negotiations.
- The delegate showed kindness and good character.
- The delegate submitted a position paper prior to the conference.
- The delegate worked with collaboration, togetherness and teamwork in mind.
- The delegate engaged with other delegates diplomatically and respectfully.
- The delegate attended all sessions of the conference.

- The journalism team shows improvement over the conference.
- The journalism team's publications are of high quality and contributions to the publications are made by all team members.
